Accordion - Gavin Lewery
Said by Louisiana's top Cajun musician Steve Riley to be
the best Cajun and Zydeco accordionist in the UK. Gavin
is 'the' most sought after box player, having been a familiar
face in the Boat Band, Bluebirds, Zydecomotion and The Flatville
Aces

Fiddle - Pauline Groenendijk
Plays fiddle with award winning Dutch band The Cajun
Company. In 2004, 2008 and 2009 she was voted “best
fiddler” in the European Cajun and Zydeco Awards.
Pauline has played with Jesse Lege, Joel Savoy and Dirk
Powell

Guitar - Hazel Scott
Hazel Scott, guitar and vocals with Out of The Swamp, Petit
et La Grosse, The Cajun Roosters and The Hazel Scott Playboys.
Hazel has a strong vocal and guitar style and her talent
was instantly recognised and applauded by established Cajun
musicians in Louisiana

Chris Hall – Cajun singing
Has been the king of the Cajun scene in the U.K. for 20
years. Has recorded with Beatles Paul McCartney, Rolling
Stones Bill Wyman and Kate Bush. Chris has played with all
the major Cajun bands but like all Cajun musicians is passionate
to teach and encourage new talent to emerge onto the scene

Cajun singing - Jessie Slade
Jessie Slade from California is a vocalist, t’fer
and banjo player. She is seen regularly on the Cajun and
Zydeco scene both in the UK and Louisiana.
Jessie is also a successful children’s writer and
her new show Dead Gorgeous has been shown around the world

Dance – Kay Anderson
Kay has led the Cajun dance workshops at the Bristol Cajun
& Zydeco Festival between 2004 and 2007, at the Gloucester
International Cajun & Zydeco Festival in 2006 to 2008
and each year at the Broadstairs Folk Festival since 2001
- as well as teaching a monthly Cajun and Zydeco dance workshops
in Kent!

Lynne and Steve – Cajunbarn
We do Cajun! You’ll find us doing it at The Cajunbarn
and in Cajun Country, Louisiana. We’ve been promoting
Cajun music and dance in Greenwich for 10 years putting
on the best Cajun and Zydeco bands from Louisiana, USA,
Europe and UK. We do it for love – all proceeds go
directly to support the bands
